Review on Hot Max 26182 Mandrel 4 Inch by Adam Bates

I bought these to fit a cut-off wheel on my 1/4 inch air grinder. probably better suited to a full size 4.5" angle grinder, but I wanted to see if this mandrel/cutting disc kit would work with my smaller air tool in a pinch. It worked great! No problems with loosening the screw on the mandrel or premature wear of the cut-off wheel throughout the project. I used the kit for about 10-12 hours, sanded off the powder coat, cut 1/8" thick metal and cut away the various layers of metal tubing. All of this wore one of the wheels down by about 1/2-2/3rd off his life.Since 3" cutting discs with a matching center hole are harder to find locally, I'll probably return to Amazon when I need more.
