The orthosis is made of durable materials. 3 adjustable velcro straps are long and durable for any large hand. However, velcro is not a new version, micro hooks will scratch the skin. If you have dry skin on your fingers, be careful. It hurts when one of these micro hooks pierces the cracked skin. Soft palm padding is thick enough for comfort without too much pressure to trap heat. The thumb cutout is made of soft and flexible bungee material so it doesn't impede thumb movement. Black is good, but personally I like beige. I wear it during long working hours when I have to type a lot. It helped a lot. I no longer had twisting pains in my wrist and my fingers were no longer numb. I usually have to take a few minutes break to stretch my wrist here and there due to wrist discomfort, but I didn't have to stop while wearing this brace. This provided excellent wrist support and stability for my entire left hand. I used to use a brace to support my wrist, but it's flimsy and has thin padding, which isn't very comfortable. They helped, but not as much as this wrist brace. In terms of stability and comfort, this brace goes above and beyond without a doubt. Didn't have to warm up to adjust the fit, everything seems normal straight away so it's great value for money. It is a pity, however, that this bandage is not machine washable. I don't sweat a lot, but I still want to give the inner padding a good clean every once in a while because it soaks up sweat, no matter what the material it's made of.
