Easy enough to set up and customize.

I needed something for my tendonitis and it worked well. Simply place the plastic in the microwave and heat for 10 seconds at a time. The instructions are detailed and, I would say, easy to understand. They're actually saying not to rush the process, so I took my time. After a while I had a splint supporting my thumb up and down which is great. I really wanted to reshape mine after a while because I felt like I could get more support from it once the plastic reached my palm, so I repeated the…

Pros
  • Commonly used for carpal tunnel, tendonitis, arthritis pain, De Quervain Syndrome etc.
Cons
  • Minor problems

I would recommend these all day

I use my hands a lot (cooking, baking, sewing, painting, painting, typing, etc.) I have severe carpal tunnel on both wrists. Due to some underlying medical issues that are more common, I am currently unable to have surgery to correct them. My wrists, hands, and forearms will feel excruciating pain at times that won't go away forever. I have quite a few bangles and this is by far the best. Not only does it offer you the possibility of heating, it has 2 hoops that are precisely placed depending…

Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

This heat activated, custom-fit wrist splint provides support for my wrist. It keeps my wrist firm, comfortable and relieves pain. Although it is a one size hoop and I have a small hand/wrist size, the three straps allow me a snug fit. The middle strap, which is the longest length, is very sticky. Sometimes I find it difficult to insert when I want to remove a tire. But I prefer strong straps as this tire will hold up well for a full day. How to use (there is a step-by-step guide on the product

Pros
  • Provides comfortable support for a weak, sore, sore or injured wrist
Cons
  • Nothing here

Interesting Splint Technology

This is a splint that can be used in the microwave and adapts to your wrist. To use, place it on the included cardboard tray for 15 seconds for a 600-700W microwave, less for a typical 1100-1200W microwave. You want to heat it up so it's warm, not hot. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then apply. You massage it to mold the thermoplastic into your wrist, then hold your wrist still for 10 minutes while the thermoplastic hardens. Then connect the middle strap to tighten it around your wrist. At…

Pros
  • Medical Articles and Equipment
Cons
  • Small Parts

The orthosis is made of durable materials. 3 adjustable velcro straps are long and durable for any large hand. However, velcro is not a new version, micro hooks will scratch the skin. If you have dry skin on your fingers, be careful. It hurts when one of these micro hooks pierces the cracked skin. Soft palm padding is thick enough for comfort without too much pressure to trap heat. The thumb cutout is made of soft and flexible bungee material so it doesn't impede thumb movement. Black is good…

Pros
  • Orthoses, splints and bandages
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for older people

MySplint Brace vs. Mueller Green Brace

My wife is currently using the Mueller Green Wrist Brace that her doctor recommended for carpal tunnel syndrome and she was thrilled, was interested in his new custom made brace from Try MySplint and compare it to Mueller, Revain's bestseller. Two top and bottom plastic rails in this bracket straight out of the box. In comparison, Muller splints are already pretty well molded to the shape of your wrist and are great for a variety of hands. As for fitting this brace to your wrist, I made two…
