Review on 🚘 2 Pack Front Hood Lift Supports Gas Charged Shocks Struts 4217L for 91-96 Toyota Camry & 92-96 Lexus ES300 by Dee Holt

I installed this kit on a 1995 Lexus ES300. The size is just right and they work well. There was a small problem. There is a small tab on the driver's side pillar for attaching the wiring harness. The tongue's stamped metal is spot welded to the bottom bracket. The tab was either slightly off center or the bolt hole was smaller than the bolt that needed to go through. I had to use a drill to widen the hole a bit to get the screw. After that there were no problems. The hood now holds very well on both sides without any problems. The OEM struts attach to the hood with a different style of ball and socket. The OEM requires you to pry off the clip so you can remove the socket to remove the ball in the hood. The replacement does not have this clip, the ball and socket are not removed from each other. However, there is plenty of room for the open end to tighten.
