I had to replace a lightweight cubic "house" made using a similar scheme - tubing and fabric. He was literally loved to death, especially by our two younger cats. This one fell short in one important way - the actual cube is much smaller than I expected allowing only the smallest of our cats to lie on it. It bears the weight well, but the actual size is quite small. Check your measurements carefully. It was also a little tricky to assemble but it might be an 'I' issue compared to the instructions. I can try to remove the little "hood" but so far our little one loves it for sleeping.
