Opening makes it easier to assemble the last angle pieces. The screen itself is made of soft, stretchy material that doesn't wrinkle. But even if there were small creases, they would show up when the screen is pulled over the frame. The bases are suitable for installing the screen on a flat surface, but if you are installing it in the garden you may need a spacer. them up to level them. The kit also includes tent poles and a nylon cord to hold the screen upright. The projected image was clear and could be viewed from any direction. The fit and finish of this projector's screen isn't perfect, but it works. If you plan on setting it up and taking it down every weekend, you might want to look for something better.
