I haven't had this kit for a long time but I like it so far. 5 stars Very good weight, good thick walls but not too heavy. Good heat distribution, the whole pan is heated fairly evenly. Heats up quickly, the aluminum core allows the pan to heat up without burning oil/fat. Excellent non-stick surface, already. I simply baked pancakes in a pan without fat. Easy to clean, the only area I noticed that is a bit difficult to clean is the outside where the handles are attached, but this is fairly common with most cookware. Every kitchen must have at least 9 pans. 3 cast iron pans 8, 10, and 12 inches 3 stainless steel 8, 10, and 12 inches (good quality) 3 non-stick 8, 10, and 12 inches (good quality) If you do a lot of cooking, invest in quality cookware Hardest to find is a high quality non-stick coating that lasts. I'm hoping for this Blue Diamond set but haven't had it long enough to know how it will perform in the long run. So far, so good. I'll try to update the review once I've used it at least 6 times. + months. But now I would recommend Blue Diamond to friends, family or any home husband.
