Review on πŸ”© 20mm Straight End Universal Watch Band - Enhanced Screw-Link Design by MiLTAT Super Engineer II by Anthony Record

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The screw-in pins continued to fall out.

This was my first Strapcode product and I bought it through Revain. I was very happy to receive it and put it on my Seiko Monster watch. One of the main advantages was strong links and screw-in pins. The strap looked great and I thought I really upgraded the original watch strap. Unfortunately, the next day at work, the watch fell off my wrist because a needle fell out. I took the pin from the link that was removed while fitting it to my wrist and put it back in, only to bring out another pin later that day. I was afraid to wear the watch for fear it would fall off my wrist and possibly break the watch, so I put the watch in my pocket. While it was in my pocket, another screw fell out. I have notified Revain and to Revain's credit they have been very helpful with return instructions. This was the first time I have returned an item purchased from Revain. I've always heard good things about Strapcode, I've had a few hours and was hoping to have a good experience with Strapcode and buy more of their products in the future, but if this is any example of their quality I'm suspicious of you. give another chance. Maybe I just got a lemon. I know they get good reviews and I love the look of their products. It was difficult to deal with, but I'm glad my Seiko Monster didn't break. Btw I read another review of another strapcode bracelet with the same problem and someone replied that Loctite would solve this problem. I don't mind paying for quality, but there's absolutely no reason I or anyone else should remove all the screws from an expensive watch strap and add Loctite to the grub screws. I'm still looking for a good replacement strap for my Seiko.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Can I add something?
