I bought these for my son specifically for the snow as they are advertised as waterproof winter boots. I would not recommend these boots if your child will be around water. We weren't in the snow long enough to get wet but my son's feet were very cold. Also, a few minutes in the wet grass and my son's feet got wet. I emailed the seller my concerns and got an apology when I was confused that they were "waterproof" instead of "waterproof" but they couldn't offer me any help because it doesn't sell as "waterproof". became.
