Review on Firestik K-11 Magnet Mount with 18-foot Coaxial Cable by Patrick Matin

It is what it is.

This is a magnet. It's not magic. It's not difficult. If you are not careful, she will fall. If you drive a small car and/or don't want to permanently mount the short CB antenna, use this. If you plan to install a whip antenna and drive off-road or in wooded areas, use a permanent mount. I've had it for two weeks now. I have a three foot Firestik antenna and a strong Firestik spring attached to this magnetic mount. I drive a small hatchback with a CB antenna on the roof. I can do 70mph on the freeway and the antenna will be fine. If I walk under a low hanging branch, it will fall. If I spin too fast, he will fall. When it rains or my car is wet, the antenna mount is likely to fall off and drag its cable across the road behind my car. So far I had to stop twice to put the antenna back on the roof. Actually, it's a pain. My car has paid off and I intend to drive it until it stops. I'm not afraid to poke holes in my car. I plan to return this mount and find something more durable.
