The stand is very discreet you really only see the spices but it also seems very sturdy and works well. I love that I can also fit larger items in it like my 6.5 ounce pepper shaker and 4 ounce hot sauce bottles. Now my whole kitchen looks cleaner because I didn't stack spice bottles on top of each other. on my open shelf. Before buying this, I bought additional spices because I couldn't see them all; Now I know exactly what I have and can see when they're gone. It hurts me that I had a dirty shelf for years when I could have had this!
