We put 2 of these next to our garage door as our garden is very dark. The previous motion-sensing headlights were fine, but they lit up the entire area, and we were surrounded by owls and other animals. Here are our observations. Installation: Very easy to install if you follow the instructions. Before installation, determine on which side you want to screw in the light barrier. It was important to us considering we had a drain pipe on one side and it was always dark. to keep the light on cloudy days. Then we twisted the sides (remove connector, unscrew cell and screw in another hole, easy as pie). Installation was easy too. You really just mount the box on the wall. The entire light block is "hung" on its hinges after lifting the crate. Be sure to follow the UP and DOWN arrows on the box or the hinges will be swapped. The key is that the LEDs can be oriented and have a slightly narrower angle than a traditional headlight. This way we could tilt the light to perfectly illuminate the parking lot in front of the garage without too much light polluting other places. It's daylight, so now it's blue instead of yellow. Daylight only. Set screws and the right angle (there are marks), and then tighten. These lights don't get hot. These lights are VERY waterproof. They are in an open, damp place and nothing is leaking. ft. Quality All metal parts. The connectors are coated with silicone to prevent leakage. The photocells and other screws on the case have bushings to block water. very unobtrusive and modern look, functional. Goodbye.
