Depending on the year of your truck this kit may contain some extra parts and springs may also be missing. In my case, a 2005 Toyota Tundra, there were 4 extra struts, 2 extra springs, and 2 more springs missing. However, this appears to be a systemic issue that occurs with every drum brake kit listed and sold for my year's Tundra. The other springs in this kit worked perfectly. They all seemed just as good as if they were no thicker than the originals they replaced. The posts are zinc plated, not OEM yellow zinc, hopefully they will resist rusting.
