These are decent light duty storage bins
I would not put plumbing hardware.in them; I have been using them for misc., books, dvds.light stuff. They are great for that. It looks less cluttered to have books.in these instead of lying lose on the floor near my desk. I did order some heavier bins for shelves I recently assembled for my garage, but they haven't arrived yet, so I can't compare, recommend, etc.
