This case protects the finish of my phone and everything I've seen. It wasn't as easy for me to install as the video on the JETech website suggests and once installed it cannot be moved without damaging it. The best way I've been able to find is to align the edge of the screen protector with the edge of the phone's active area (with the phone on - in my case it was set to a white display) and then gently lean it against the surface . Air bubbles appear to appear at this point, but they quickly disappear as the tread sticks to the surface; Because the tread isn't as flexible as a sheet of plastic, it's nearly impossible to trap air underneath. It only covers the active area of the phone's surface, not the small inactive area around the edges (so it can be used on a cased phone). The end result is the cleanest, sharpest screen I've ever seen, in some ways even sharper than a screen protector. I had an issue with one of the protectors (there are two in the box) and JETech sent me a new one overnight showing great customer service.
