I was amazed at how much you can get for so little with this set. Not only does it come with 36 vibrant colors, but you also get 10 small sheets of watercolor paper, a color mixing palette with 3 divided sections (inside the lid), 2 water pens, and 2 thin brushes. I was very excited to see 2 water pens. I already have 1 thin tip, but I am very happy that I have not only another, but also a wide tip. Also happy with fine tipped brushes as many of mine have worn down with use and no longer make "thin" lines. I sleep a lot and find them very travel friendly. With paints in a metal can and a mixing bowl that is a lid and handles for water, I have everything I need to easily take with me when I go somewhere. The only thing I would change is that the lid hinges at the bottom of the jar. When you remove the lid, it deforms enough that it doesn't lay flat on the table, but that's no big deal. I usually only have primary colors, but I'm tired of always having to mix my own colors and maybe not having enough of them. So I'm excited about all the colors that are included in this set. I have a feeling the paper that was sent with the set wasn't very good. For example when I wet it to create a sunset where the colors would blend, it behaved more like printer paper where it just looks wet and doesn't blend my colors well. But then again. It's just that the fact that they send you a paper to try something is still nice. So no worries, overall a great set! Definitely recommend it!
