Well the price was right, 12 pack for $5. The thing is, you tend to get what you pay for. If you've never owned any of these things, it might satisfy you. I had these as a kid and they don't satisfy me. They are cheap and made entirely of plastic. This in itself is not necessarily a disadvantage. The ones I had as a kid had metal sirens. Plastic sirens sound flat and fuzzy, completely unsatisfactory and lacking in flair. Yes, it's annoying. If you have a neighbor you want to bug, be sure to pass the bag of these bugs on to their kids. I took them partly out of nostalgia and partly to annoy my wife. They're annoying but not satisfying. I don't get that nostalgic punch from them.
