I bought these to replace the worn brakes on my Trek mountain bike. The threaded stem on these pads is too short and the washers are too thick. With the washers in place there is barely any thread showing. When you go to tighten the nut, the threads strip. I spent an hour trying to make these fit and dropped washers multiple times just trying to get the end nut on. I ended up tossing all four pads in the trash. It was beyond the return window. I just bought the Shimano Deore/LX pads. These went on very smoothly. Front and rear brakes installed in less than 15 minutes and no washers on the floor.
