Review on be quiet! Silent Base 802 Black: Mid-Tower ATX with Sound Insulation and Pre-Installed Pure Wings 2 Fans by Oren Perry

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cable routing is tight

I really like this case, but the SATA cable routing is very tight. I have five SSDs and had to bend them significantly to fit the motherboard. Also, with SSD frames, the locking screw is in the way of the SSD connectors and you must work around it, not reverse it. This puts unnecessary strain on the sensitive SSD connections on the drive. Luckily nothing broke, but for such a large body it's tight. If you're using fewer drives, this isn't a problem, but it shouldn't be a problem in the first place. Other than that, it's the best case I've had in a long time and I'm mostly happy with it. It actually runs cooler than the 5000D Airflow, which I replaced with the silent panels. I haven't tried airflow panels yet. If you want a top mid tower, this is it. It's quiet and built like a tank.
