Review on 💡 TP-CAP-40/5/440R Dual Run Capacitor by Carrier by James Jenkins

Before we sold the house we checked our air conditioner and the technician said the condenser we had was not to specification. It was worth spending $$ on it or $$$ to replace. I went the cheaper route. Extremely easy to install! Disconnect power from the AC unit (most should have a blackout near the unit) Open the lid Locate the capacitor and check for a match (if possible) Check for existing wire connections Disconnect the old one and plug in the new one Installing the new one where the old one used an existing bracket or included zip tie. Make sure no wires are crossed/shorted and close the case. Reconnect the power supply (at the disconnect or switch panel).
