Review on 🐶 Merrick Grain-Free Dry Dog Food: Superior Quality Nutrition for Your Canine Companion by Heather Johnson

Same story as several other bad reviews about this food. We started buying it from the local pet store over a year ago because it contained salmon/yams which is said to encourage shedding. However, this last pack we bought from Revain made our dog very sick - he vomited 4-5 days in a row when he ate them. We paid over $200 for an x-ray thinking he swallowed a toy, but we narrowed it down to food because he hasn't had a problem since we switched his food (we had success with one for a few days bland diet, put him back on it food and he vomited again). I agree with the other post that the "fish" smell isn't as strong in this Revain bag compared to the one in our pet store - maybe the formula is different or has a longer shelf life? No matter what, we change his food. Purchase at your own risk.
