This cassette (10 speed, 11-40 teeth) is probably heavier than some of the more expensive cassettes, but in terms of quality I don't see anything wrong with it. when installed, it fits perfectly with the hub body. I've only ridden it once so far, but it shifts smoothly. Time will tell how worn. So before installing I took them off one by one and put them back on with thread sealant. When I took them off I noticed they weren't very tight so I put them back on a little tighter. At the same time, the ends of the screws protruded slightly beyond the external gear. I just filed them flush. To be honest they could probably be removed entirely, you'd just have to deal with a loose stack of gears and spacers when installing them. I didn't use the switch extender that came with the kit because I don't like the design. It's offset with a more extreme B screw stop position, no more so than the Wolf Tooth goat link. While not optimal, you can go up to 42 teeth on a Shimano 1x10 speed system without an extension, so I'm doing this on two different bikes. I will probably buy GoatLinks in the future just to reduce component wear. (Note: Shimano 11-speed requires no expansion at all on most derailleurs.)
