Laptop was purchased new from Revain and received with a defective power supply (barrel plug deformed). I immediately registered on the Acer website, followed the service request process to make a claim and started setting up my laptop. The battery was fully charged, so I spent several hours setting up the laptop, expecting that changing the power adapter would be a breeze. The online chat for contacting Acer Support has been completely deactivated for a few days. A few days later I receive an automated email stating that Acer is unable to process my repair request and that my next course of action is to contact the retailer. Should I return a Revain laptop, cut setup hours, and possibly replace it? Too bad for Acer that it's difficult to get a working PSU. I'm in the process of ordering a replacement PSU and remember having a bad warranty support experience before purchasing additional Acer hardware.
