I followed the sizing guide and bought a size 8 for my 9 year old who usually wears a size 10 shirt and a 8 or 10 pants. The Pants fit him great and even had a little room to grow in to but the shirt, vest and jacket were way to tight on him and the sleeves seemed way to short. I also tried it on my 7 year old who wears a size 8 shirt and either a 6 or 8 pants. The pants were way to big on him and way to long. The shirt, vest and Jacket fit him great. I bought my 7 year old a different color in the same brand but a size 7 and it seems to fit him a lot better. The pants on the size 7 were still a bit big on him but fit him a lot better than the size 8 pants. I did feel like the material for this suit was really well and I would probably buy it again
