Don't bother either. suitable for compressors and parts

I bought this specifically to compress a door spring for refit; who was recommended for this task and additionally claimed that he would help/do the task I requested. However, he did neither. I used the tool as recommended and presented and it still failed. It failed because the components were not suitable for the task. From the photos I provided, it appears that the metal used to make the tooling itself was warped and bent, making it unable to compress the door spring for a proper reassembly. I originally attempted to reinstall the spring with zip ties, but after using nearly 20 zip ties with no success, I purchased this item with maximum success. I accepted the purchase of the instrument with joy and excitement, believing that it would solve my predicament. However, after being squeezed once, the tool itself buckled and buckled out of shape and can no longer be used as anything other than a pry bar.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
