Every bottom bracket tool I've ever used with this design has been lousy. This is the only option if you plan to use a torque wrench for assembly, but no matter how careful you are you will lose the nut and damage the bolt and possibly your bike. This particular instrument was worse than most. I've used it for a few projects but found it so unwieldy I'd rather take the risk with a traditional wrench. User error is always a possibility, but I'm usually pretty good with tools. The tool really works, which is why I gave it three stars.
