The ring fits the bucket quite tight. I understand why other reviewers had trouble with the hack. With such a strong impact on the ring, I could see cracks developing over time. My problem was the possibility of compaction. I poured water into the bucket and screwed the lid on tightly. When the bucket tipped over, the water spilled out. So the air will also seep in/out. The 2nd photo shows that bulges/bends appear in 4 places along the perimeter of the bezel ring during the casting process. better.
