Review on 🔧 Dorman 749-508 Front Driver Side Window Regulator (OE FIX) - High-Quality Replacement for Select Models by Dan West

A year and a half ago my driver's side window fell into the door after I heard a grinding noise. I bought and installed the cheapest Revain window regulator. It worked for 17 months and then it happened again. So this time I said I'd buy one that at least carried the brand name and while the dorman is sometimes laughed at, I haven't had any problems with any of the dormans. Parts are now part of my van. But that? It doesn't look like Dorman's part. No markings anywhere. It came in a plastic bag and the only mention of Dorman is on the crappy printed page that came in the box. And the part? it looks WORSE than the nameless brand I bought a year ago. I had no choice but to install as I need the van on Monday but I took no chances and oiled the mechanism to hell hoping it would last at least a year. I'm not sure what it will be.
