I have two cats living in my house and one of them likes to be high and the other likes to be closer to the ground. As it is a small scratching post it is perfect for my two cats, one can be slightly elevated and the other can stand on top of the scratching post and still feel high off the ground. For her, however, it's not just a scratching post; You can also scratch and play with an extra dangling fluffy ball. Personally they like the cat hammock part the most as none of my other cat trees have this feature. Overall assembly was very easy. This scratching post was made with a thicker base plate and a triangular design to ensure product stability, which is perfect for my cats as they love to play rough all the time. If I were a cat I would lie on this scratching post all day due to the softness of the material and fabric. My cats just turned a year old so they are still quite small and perfect on all levels. I would definitely recommend this scratching post for any small cat.
