After I bought a Tencel coated mattress topper, I knew I needed a garment made out of something like this. Lyocell Viscose Rayon Bamboo and Tencel are similarly made using wood pulp, eucalyptus, bamboo and other plants as a source of cellulose, which is then turned into a liquid that solidifies when extruded. Then it can be woven into a thread. These pants are smooth as silk but not as smooth as silk. I like it more than silk. They are cool, light and very comfortable. I will update when/if they wear out. I'm pretty strict when it comes to pajamas and loungewear, and none of the all-cotton or blended pants I've tried lasted more than a few months. I hope they last longer and I think they will. These are my favorite and most comfortable lounge pants I've ever bought. Update: 2021 Unfortunately, they didn't last six months of daily use. They are comfortable, but if, like me, you wear clothes around the house very often, then you better buy clothes for service workers that will last a long time. Nurse pants, or pants worn by most chefs in restaurants. Both are comfortable and can be loose if sized correctly. They will last at least a year and probably two years or more with proper care.
