You might be a lucky one that actually gets a disco ball that works. We, unfortunately, were not—the only action ours has is some kind of internal rotation…no accompanying music, colors or flashing. We simply see something moving inside the prism top. I thought maybe it needed a new battery—that didn’t help. We still can’t get any results from the remote, other than starting the motor. This really is a fun light. It has bright colors and vivid patterns that swirl around the room. It does a decent job of changing to the music, but it doesn't actually appear to be following it really well. It doesn't have a slow setting, lol. Really great colors though. I got this for my movie room. It is nice to light up the room during intermissions. I like how it only has LED lights and no laser to worry about. I found it difficult to place it because if it's placed below eye level, it can shine into my eyes. I ended up putting it on a tall speaker. The hard base is removable and under it is a suction cup for adhering to flat surfaces. I couldn't find a suitable place to use the suction cup. This is a super fun plug and play disco light. As long as you have a USB outlet, you can plug this in and enjoy the fun disco lights. We use it in my kid's playroom and they absolutely love it. It isn't the most sophisticated disco light, but it works very well for its low cost point. Also, for the low cost, it seems like great quality. Great choice!

Dj cancled last min. Ordered these day before party and they worked well. Used for a sweet 16 at a decent size hall. These worked but next time for a hall I would order 2 sets. Kids enjoyed and loved the lights.

They both fell apart after an hour. The suction cups don't work and they're too top heavy - the plastic ball covering the lights is bad quality and popped off right away.

Guess what. I bought this as a birthday gift and it turned out the best. My friend just turned it on and the party went bomb. it turns and changes colors. it also easily get adjusted on any surface with its legs .Very good for partying!
