I bought it as a gift and to replace a bunch of old ones I had. Generally very pleasant. The packaging was top notch. A nice finishing touch for a "hello/thank you" letter. I've used it several times now and I love it. Very nice stainless steel rim, easy to clean. I'm a bit in the dark as to whether I like the actual screen size. I've only used it in a regular sized pan (think 12 inches) when cooking bacon. In use, I thought that the diameter of the screen hole might be limiting and retain heat (which I actually don't want to). be). I haven't used it to build anything like this yet and will update this review when I do. I could be completely wrong but just wanted to share my observation. As for the design. I bought it because I wanted a folding handle. My old fenders had rigid grips which made them awkward to store. This protection is very well thought out and designed. The handle locks in the open position. Closed position clicker. Currently, when folded for storage, the handle does not lock in that position. Overall this is a high quality product and I find it excellent value for money.
