Review on 🚦 MicroBypass Parking Brake Switch: Enable Video in Motion for Pioneer AVH-4100NEX and AVH-4200NEX by Jorge Kumar

I first bought this product because of the product's obvious benefit of simulating a parking brake. At first I considered returning it because simply connecting the parking brake cable to ground (my parking brake had a faulty apply sensor) did the trick. When loading a DVD you will be prompted to apply/remove/apply the brake. Of course I can't do that if the wire is connected to ground all the time. I could fit a switch in and manually simulate it (cheaper alternative), but this item actually simulates it (on/off/on) on every boot. Wiring was simple - ground, remote, parking brake wire. listed.
