I was so impressed when I pulled these snowshoes out of the box! I could not believe the quality of them, not to mention the really cool color. These snowshoes are very light and made extremely well. They actually feel really good to walk in, and you feel secure in the ice and snow. The craftsmanship went way beyond what I was expecting. The strong aluminum frame is made out of the highest grade aircraft aluminum. They have a heel-lift design as well as a fast ratchet buckle system, which makes it really fast for you to adjust your feet correctly in these snowshoes. The crampons have a sawtooth design and grip very well in ice and snow. They have a nonslip mat where you feet are, and heavy duty PE decking. Because I weigh around 180 lbs I ordered the 30" size, and even with the bigger size snowshoes it is very easy to walk in them. These snowshoes come with a full-floatation pivot system, which reduces fatigue and stress and gives great traction. They come with a set of trekking poles to help keep your balance, which are very nice. Along with the poles they included a beautiful bag that has a detachable shoulder strap, as well as having two carry handles as a nice added bonus. I highly recommend them.
