Review on Insect Butterfly Habitat Terrarium: An Engaging Learning & Education Tool by RESTCLOUD by Fred Maki

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Small holes appeared. stained glass. Difficult to fold for storage.

It really helped protect some monarch caterpillars that later became butterflies. I had read that the late summer generation should be grown outdoors as much as possible, otherwise they don't seem to migrate as they should, so finding something that can provide some outdoor protection was important to me. This was done, but after a month or two, very small holes formed in the grid. Not sure why as it was in a very sheltered patio area. The holes aren't big enough for predators, but some of the early stages could probably crawl out of them if they wanted to. for lack of a better word, it dripped until a new butterfly appeared. I can't get these stains out. While I think it's a good product overall, I think its claim that it folds up for easy storage is a bit ambitious. Most of us don't have the physics PhD to put this back together. The instructions were less than helpful but at least they made me laugh. I ended up just putting it in a kitchen garbage bag, tying the strings nice and tight, then hanging it in the garage for the next year. Now he looks like a big old doll.
