We have two sugar gliders. We take great care of the cleanliness of the cage and their pockets as we hate their smell. The bottom of the cage is washed at least twice a week and the entire cage is wiped down at least once a week. I might find a cheaper alternative. Just a few days later, the sugar gliders started smelling. I cleaned everything, changed the cover, wiped the cage, the smell doesn't go away. The only thing that has changed is the food. Unfortunately we are returning to Pocket Pet Glider Food. Incidentally, our sugar gliders were happy to accept that.
