Review on SEAGATE ST8000DM0004 BarraCuda 256MB Cache by Seth Damain

I purchased this item about a month before writing this review. When I ordered the CD there weren't many reviews but they were all 4 and 5 stars so I was like what can go wrong? Those were my famous last words. I have many small hard drives that I have accumulated over the years and filled with irreplaceable photos and videos. I bought this Seagate drive to combine them and after transferring 6TB of data I couldn't access the drive at all. Yes. Years full of precious memories are gone. Simply that way. This happened literally 3 days after receiving the disc. I was so angry I couldn't even think about what had just happened. I wanted to calm down before writing this review so as not to distort my thoughts. Now, a month later, I am writing this. It is clear that the repair department abandoned this. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this product.
