Review on Desktop Power Grommet Outlet Data Center by David Pirlet

I purchased a 2 inch desktop power feedthrough with a power outlet and two white USB ports for a desk I was building. This was the only power grommet on the table top and came with 4 other 2" regular grommet holes to route the cord under the table top. This Power Sleeve is designed to allow quick access to power when needed and it works and looks good. There are two separate plastic rings that can be used under the sleeve to secure it in place; one for the 2" hole and one for the larger hole, so obviously I used the smaller ring. I like that the sleeve stays securely in place and doesn't "give" when connecting or disconnecting items. It can also be mounted directly to the table, leaving the exit lines off-center (a feature I appreciate). The 3" grommets I looked at were fine, but I decided to close all my grommet holes 2". so I could use more desk space.I may also replace this power grommet with one of the regular cable management port covers as my desktop configuration changes over time as new technology and devices are needed.I can't for the long term function Talking about the "Power" Hub connections but hopefully this company will be around for a long time and support their product if there are any issues.. Still I can always attach a regular protective case and the surrounding hole will not be damaged if necessary. I'm very satisfied with this product. It was a nice addition to my desktop.
