I bought 3 of these dog vests after doing some product research. The reviews were very helpful as the sizes are actually smaller (at least for my dogs) as many reviews say. I have 3 Chihuahua mixes, all about 13 pounds with large breasts. My dog's measurements according to Gooby's size chart indicate that MEDIUM should be ordered. I've read enough reviews and looked at enough photos to decide that it would be safer for me to order the LARGE instead. This was the right choice as all 3 fit my animals well and luckily as all 3 are males the length of the bottom of each vest just clears the area where material changes need to be made. The material and build quality of the vest is high, and the bottom's ability to stretch around a wider chest also helps.
