pretty decent. I had the Starrett version which is definitely better but way more expensive and too powerful for all the woodwork I will be doing. In my opinion, they are not ready to work. I spent about 15 minutes on each edge, including the raw edges on the straight piece. I ended up with a fairly slick, well-made pair of tools. If I used them every day I would buy Starretts and if I used them on the road I would just use my Stanley. Overall they are great for my indoor wood workshop and worth the price.
