Perfect replacement for my 1974 John Deere 310 backhoe loader. Outside. I rarely find a replacement part. I tried to restore my original alternator and just swapped out the regulator. but the shaft and other components were too far away. So I took the risk of finding something close enough that I could customize and get it working. However, this device was absolutely accurate. The assembly and alignment of the pulleys was perfect. Although the outer container showed transport and loading damage, the generator was in perfect condition, as if it had been handed over to me over the counter.
