Need a foam base? These scratch easily.

Need a foam stock? Haven't found it yet, but they scratch easily. DO NOT BUY these unless they provide a paint safe outlet as stated in the attached document. I tried a microfiber cloth but it didn't work. I've also tried using a soft paper towel, but that didn't work either. I can find anti-scratch bushings but they seem to be made to protect the rim and not the nut.
