Exactly what I was looking for, not very heavy but very strong. Opening and closing this lock is easy. The lock is qualitatively and thoughtfully manufactured. I initially had trouble mounting it on the bike because of the water bottle holder, but the mounting ring allows it to be mounted on the rear fork where it's out of the way. Of course, this lock has no lock. 15-star safety rating (safety rating = 8) like the more expensive models, but the price and quality are hard to beat. In any case, I have other ways to protect my bike, thieves have to jump through many loops. I just wanted something stable, reliable and practical as part of a comprehensive security package.
