Threads on aluminum caps are too fine to completely hide brass valve stem caps. When fully tightened, they reach down to a minimum of 1/16"-1/8" brass where sand will collect. I tried them on a second car to make sure my truck's stems weren't out of the ordinary and they were having the same issue. Gave them back.
