We captured amazing quality videos and photos in about 10 minutes, having never booted a Raspberry Pi. I've heard people use the iPhone 6 to make cinema quality movies. According to our tests, ArduCAM's resolution and color quality is as good or even better than iPhone 6. Compared to phone cameras, ArduCAM's sensor optics are larger and the quality of photos and videos is amazingly clear. ArduCAM installed on Rasparian OS as a Raspberry Pi camera and the raspistill and raspivid terminal programs included with Rasparian OS worked fine.
