Review on 📱 Renewed Samsung Galaxy S8+ for AT&T - Arctic Silver, 64GB by Bambang ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a bad product, but I expected a little more.

The prevailing consensus is not positive. The phone has a nice layout, which is a plus (especially the olweiss display looks beautiful). But that's not enough to make up for the cons you wouldn't anticipate at this price, the most significant of which is that the phone is uncomfortable to hold and use. While the tools at hand are identical—an iPhone or Xiaomi Redmi—the planning that went into this one is far more deliberate.

Pros
  • - high quality screen - high quality paint and display, after 1.3 years of use, the glossy paint on the edges is almost free of scratches, not a single scratch on the display or back cover, in general it looks like new, although I use the phone rather inaccurately - for a year of use, the battery has not weakened, it keeps a stable day, if not heavily loaded - stable operation of the system, for the entirety of the time of use I do not remember any freezes as a
Cons
  • Unfortunately, due to a bug in the phone's software, you cannot see YouTube videos while you're not online (a paid feature of YouTube when you can watch videos with the screen turned off). YouTube mutes the audio after a brief delay when the screen goes black. In a similar vein, music playback is frequently halted when entering sleep mode. My experience with the contact manager and the music player has shown that the Bixby button continues to play music or contacts even when the device is in sleep mode. It's worthless, useless, and serves no purpose other than providing a doorway to an infinite rabbit hole of entertainment. It turns out that there are a lot of accidental button presses that result in switching tracks and so on. This may be due to the beveled edges or to some other factor. I saw some unique performance compared to the identical xiaomi redmi 3s, but the lack of an option to ban SMS messages from nominal numbers is very annoying. I compare only by the speed of loading large sites in the browser
