Review on GoVideo DVR4200: The Ultimate DVD-VCR Combo for Seamless Entertainment by Andre Stephens

My daughter is *very happy* with this double deck. She's not exactly an electronics expert, but she called to say thank you and only chatted about how "easy" it was to hook up ("Really dad, I just plugged it in and connected 1 wire, and mine Roommates and I said "this can't be that easy" but we turned it on and it worked great!). She said the remote worked "smoothly" and the picture quality was "amazing". She was also impressed with the volume the CD player could play and was "overwhelmed" by its ability to reproduce that volume cleanly when playing MP3s, so it became the new music center in their dorm room, I'm told. Definitely should they stay lucky as GoVideo (and now SONICblue) has been around for quite some time and released the first dual VCRs (mainly for copying off-copyright tapes [of course]. , such as personal videos), rather than ten years ago, and have since expanded their product line significantly while maintaining a fairly solid reputation for quality and service and an excellent track record in quality electronics.
