UPDATE: 4 stars for the overall product: stand and base are very solid. They took their time when they did it. It's tilt and swivel, which means I can set it up vertically with a standard stand without the need for a separate mount. A cable management option is built into the stand. Kind. The design was very simple. I love the colour. I'm not an expert on this, but my laptop feels like it has great color depth. Maybe it's a TN panel? I don't know, but Asus sells their version of this monitor at a higher price, and it's not IPS. The games I play on my PC look perfect. THERE IS NO OTHER. I can only recommend that. When I surf the internet or really do EVERYTHING on my computer, I feel very relaxed. It's more like the definition of smoothness was invented for how well this screen renders images. Notes: Be sure to set a fast response time and change some color settings as you like. Also, install and update all your drivers. Graphics card/OS/Displays. It is changed for better visual perception. I changed three times when I updated monitor drivers, graphics card drivers and the operating system. I was initially skeptical about buying a Dell as this is my first personal Dell purchase but I'm happy and relieved to say it was worth it. HDMI only supports up to 60Hz. Displayport supports up to 165Hz. Go to Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Global Settings - I have set the power management mode to "Prefer maximum performance" and triple buffering to "On". In the Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings - Find the games you are playing and make sure the monitor technology is set to "G-SYNC" if you want to enable G-Sync. CONS: Colors could be a bit better. "I think" seems to lean toward the yellow end of the spectrum, but it could be many different things. including low blue eye care? I just haven't seen anywhere that the low blue eye care feature is listed as a feature. There was a problem switching between HDMI input and DP input; The DP display does not read the signal. Everything connected correctly. To see the DP signal I MUST disconnect and reconnect the DP port. Switching on and off does not work. The box is disappointing. When it arrives, it will be packaged in a matte gray box with detailed information about its features and a standard product image. Not flashy but I can't connect the dots because it saves ink which is good for the environment and every little thing counts. I will update this review as needed.
