I guess you don't often think that a plumb bob looks pretty but this one does. A mirror finish may not help hanging down to show the exact spot that is underneath what you are hanging it on. But damn it looks good. Jokes aside, it's well made and the steel tip is replaceable. Just in case he hits the concrete below at high speed. I use it most often to mount scopes and do odd jobs around the house such as cleaning. B. the installation of a rain gauge mast. A medium bob like this one comes in handy for most things that DIYers come across. I suppose heavier beans might be less sensitive to wind outside.
