I bought this pot a while ago to make sweet tea. I wanted to wait while I write the review to make sure it contains the kind of insults I usually give. Well it works great. I add sugar, pour boiling water and put tea bags. I let it steep until the tea is ready, then I add ice (while it's still hot) and then put it in the fridge. I have never had any problems. I've even slapped it a few times, put it in and out of the fridge, and it's still holding up. I really like the lid feature which I wasn't aware of when I bought it. There are two lids, an outer lid and an inner lid that opens by itself when pouring. What a great design and it's a really nice piece of glass. Thank you for a great product at such a great price.
